So yes Susie, Dawn is pregnant :-) Almost ready to pop. I am beside myself to see my little neice's face :-) Her name is going to be Jael Rose Albani. So cute!! I will post pictures as soon as I get my computer back. I am at my mom's now and I don't know how to upload pictures from this computer.....I'll have to fiddle around with it. Oh gosh..Samuel is on my lap as I am writing this. not so easy.I feel so bad for my little guy. He seems to have a very poor immune system. He has been sick almost literally all winter. He just got over a throat infection just to get a cold and have this stupid Asthma kick in again. He is currently on pulmicort, albuteral, pregnesone (yup the nasty medicine) cingulair( until at least the end of the winter)and he has 3 more days of omoxycillan. my poor kid!!We pray healing over his little lungs! I was so proud of the fact that i myself had not gotten sick from Samuel, but sure enough..I spoke too soon. I now am fighting a cold that I have had since my birthday. Fun Fun..Josh also got sick so its been a tiring few days.....
I was just having some thoughts on being a mother. I really realize that my life has completely changed. My whole life and thoughts and my heart seems to be wrapped around my little angel. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I was thinking the other day about something funny and so special. Samuel has been trying to test his momma to see how serious she really is when she says no. So we were in the kitchen the other day, and I have been letting him help me in the kitchen to keep him occupied. Well anyway, we were in the kitchen and I was loading the dishwasher. And for whatever reason, if you have the top rack and the bottom rack of the dishwasher open, the whole darn thing falls over. Weird. So the NUMBER ONE NO NO is he is NOT to touch the dishwasher...So what does he do? Yup, you guessed it! He slams both hands on the dishwasher door then looks at me with this look of "ya and what are you going to do about it"So I got down to his level, said Samuel, what did mommy tell you about the dishwasher..he shook his head no, and I said where do you need to go? So he marched right over to the time out chair and sat there with this grin on his face as if to tell me it was totally worth it. so he sat there for 2 minutes, got down , gave me a hug and a kiss and walked back into the kitchen where he "skimmed" his knees against the dishwasher, went back to time out, then came back plopped a toy on the dishwasher, went back into time out and then finally ended up with the spoon to the rear. So what was so special and funny about this moment? I really love that I feel like I have a big lump of clay that, with God's help, I get the privilege to mold. He is this little maniac that actually listens to me! haha. I am thoroughly enjoying my son even when it's hard. I love every new thing he does and i love having to hold back my laughter when he does something naughty and I need to discipline him..I just love him. So thank you God for my baby boy!!!
